Celebrate and Honor Black History Month

Celebrating Black History is important not only in February, but every day. Together, we can recognize and honor the many ways Black people have influenced, inspired, and impacted the world.

With the lessons in the Seesaw Library, students can:

  • interpret data of athlete Allyson Felix’s Olympic medals (Grades K-2)

  • write, edit and revise a poem using alliteration, inspired by Amanda Gorman (Grades 3-5)

  • reflect on powerful quotes from Chadwick Boseman (Grades 3-5)

  • and so much more!
