Amy LaRonge’s Success Story

I am an Instructional Coach at Title 1 Elementary School. My primary role with Seesaw is to provide professional development to staff and family communication. Prior to using Seesaw at our school, family engagement was very low. Most communication to families was through email and very few families were accessing the email communications. Now that we are using Seesaw we have over 95% of our families connected to the Seesaw app and actively using it to communicate and engage in their child’s learning. We also have a large percentage of ELL students from a variety of languages. The translate option in the family app has been a game changer for getting our ELL families actively engaged in their children’s learning, the classroom, and school activities.
