Anne Kozisek’s Success Story

Teaching young children is so rewarding, but challenging. One of the many challenges is ensuring that all students can access the material, and can then show what they have learned. Seesaw provides the opportunity for students to share their thinking in so many different ways that all students feel capable and empowered.

One of my favorite times to use Seesaw is when my students are working on inferencing and predicting with fiction texts. After reading, we upload images of the book’s pages and students can zoom in, circle, highlight, or make arrows pointing to the illustration-based or text-based evidence – then record their voices explaining their inference/prediction and the evidence they noted. It’s awesome!
