I love the idea of interacting with families and the school community through school-wide events. When you aren’t able to get everyone into the building or to an event, video options can provide that “wow factor” of building relationships with your families. You can engage the community around you with video messaging options to share what you have going on in your classroom through social media, the school website, or Seesaw Messenger. I also love the idea of creating a portfolio of work on Seesaw to share during conferences or other family events. You can even take it a step further and allow students to create videos that can be shared using a QR code directly through their Seesaw portfolio.
The abundance of Spanish lessons and multilingual materials on Seesaw has really helped us to bridge that gap.
