About Matt
Matt is an experienced education technology executive and CEO of Seesaw, the only Learning Experience Platform developed specifically for PreK-5 students. With over two decades in professional education and technology roles, Matt started his career as a teacher where his passion for education quickly propelled him into management and senior leadership roles.
Prior to his career at Seesaw, Matt held the role of CEO at CeriFi, where he led the company’s portfolio of training and certification companies, collectively serving financial planning, insurance and securities professionals and organizations. Matt also spent the decade prior in various C-level positions within education technology businesses, including Gylnlyon, Catapult Learning, EdisonLearning and Kaplan.
Matt has been recognized for his educational policy expertise, including his successful influence on legislation in multiple states and testifying on the authorization of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) in front of a full committee hearing at the U.S. House of Representatives, Education and the Workforce Committee. He has frequent press and public speaking engagements and has lectured on educational policy at Tufts University.
Matt graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in psychology.
Kosh Thirumalai

About Kosh
Kosh Thirumalai is the EVP of Engineering at Seesaw, where he leads the global engineering organization and helps shape product and technology strategy across the experiences used by millions of students, educators, and families and the platforms, data, security, and infrastructure that power them. Since joining Seesaw at a pivotal stage in its growth, Kosh has taken on increasingly broad leadership, helping scale the engineering organization while modernizing Seesaw’s technology foundation and expanding its global capabilities.
Before Seesaw, Kosh spent seven years at Microsoft, helping shape and modernize Azure platforms powering Microsoft’s global commercial business and leading specialized air-gapped cloud initiatives for U.S. defense and national-security customers. His career also includes building and leading engineering teams focused on healthcare and global health services at CareZone and the Grameen Foundation.
Meg Miller
Chief Financial Officer
About Meg
Meg Miller has held various financial leadership roles throughout her career and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Seesaw Learning, a position she started in May 2022. Prior to this, she was the Chief Financial Officer at Envoy Global, where she oversaw all financial functions and executed a change of control sale to a financial sponsor. Before joining Envoy Global, she worked as the Vice President, Finance at Natera, leading the finance team through multiple funding rounds and an IPO. Prior to this, Meg served as a Private Equity Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners and started her professional journey as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley. She earned an AB degree in Biology from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

About Monique
Monique London is the EVP of People at Seesaw, leading global HR strategy, operations, and organizational development. With a background in total rewards, workforce planning, and change management, she brings over two decades of experience in fostering inclusive and high-performing workplaces. Before joining Seesaw, Monique held leadership roles across various industries, specializing in HR transformation, compensation strategy, and employee engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from the University of Georgia and is SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified. Monique lives in Houston with her husband, son, and two dogs.
Barry Swihart
EVP, Sales
About Barry
Barry’s career in education began nearly 25 years ago. Being one of the first 10 employees at OdysseyWare, he rose in the ranks to become their SVP of Sales, establishing an industry-leading NPS score, and assisting the business through two acquisitions. After 17 years at OdysseyWare, he joined BASE, a social emotional learning platform, as SVP of Sales. Here he built a go-to-market team responding to the increasing mental health concerns of school-age youth following COVID. After two years, BASE was acquired. Shortly thereafter, Barry joined Seesaw in July of ’23 as our VP of Sales. Barry excels in building culture-rich environments that empower team members with a partner-first mindset.
Kat Brown
EVP, Customer Experience
About Kat
Kat is a former high school English teacher who found her calling in the world of Education Technology. Kat has led large scale solution implementations in school districts across the country for CompassLearning, Kaplan K12 Learning Services, and Achieve3000. After nine years at Achieve3000, Kat became the VP of Customer Success at Odyesseyware. In 2020, during a transformative time in the industry, Kat joined DreamBox Learning. She went on to become the VP of Success and Services and interim Chief Customer Officer before leaving DreamBox to join Seesaw as their Executive Vice President of Customer Experience in August 2023.

About Preeti
Preeti Sampath is the EVP of Marketing at Seesaw, leading the company’s global brand, product marketing, and growth strategies. With over 15 years of experience in developing high-impact brands and driving revenue growth, she specializes in bridging the gap between innovative technology and market-leading positions. Before joining Seesaw, Preeti held various leadership roles where she focused on scaling marketing operations, team and launching go-to-market strategies within the Fintech and Insurtech sectors. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Production and Design from Indiana University, Bloomington. Preeti lives in Colorado with her husband and her 3 “fur kids,” and enjoys scaling mountains in her free time.
Lucy Svoboda
EVP, Strategy & Operations
About Lucy
Lucy is the EVP of Strategy & Operations at Seesaw, where she leads company strategy and business operations, including strategic planning, M&A, and the systems and data that enable the organization to run effectively and scale. She has worked across EdTech and HealthTech, including roles at GoodRx, Nearpod, and Guild Education.
Lucy lives in Los Angeles with her family and enjoys hiking, tennis, and live music. She serves on the Board of Galvanizer, a community supporting female founders, and holds an MBA and MA in Education from Stanford University.
Lara Thane
General Counsel
About Lara
Lara is an experienced legal leader and the General Counsel at Seesaw. Before joining Seesaw, she held various legal leaderships rolls, including as the General Counsel of a private equity-backed global technology company and Chief Privacy Officer of a publicly traded fintech and financial services firm. She began her career as an associate in the corporate and securities practice of an AmLaw 100 law firm. She earned a JD from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and an MBA from Villanova School of Business. Lara is certified through the IAPP as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIMP) and Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP).
