Jody Green’s Success Story

I have always been an advocate for students creating digital portfolios, and Seesaw is the perfect tool for students to use for this purpose. Not only does it allow students to show their learning process, but it also allows them to reflect on their progress and growth. Selecting and curating portfolio entries based on students’ own criteria allows ownership and for their true voice to shine through.

I have been using and sharing the love of Seesaw since the very beginning with ShadowPuppetEDU. It took a little bit of time for the teachers I support to get as excited about Seesaw as I was, but it has happened! I have teachers at every school site who use Seesaw consistently for all kinds of purposes. They collaborate with each other to create activities that meet their own needs; they have students post their own work and share it to their Seesaw blog; they communicate with families; and they are truly using Seesaw to build student portfolios. It makes my heart so happy!
