I have been utilising Seesaw to promote student agency. Students have been recording themselves with a focus on developing fluency. They asked a partner to provide verbal feedback and then used the feedback to set further reading goals and reflect on what they needed to work on. This instructional concept truly gives students ownership and autonomy of their own individual learning process.
Using Seesaw engages all my learners in the classroom. Seesaw has enabled me to change and grow as an educator. It has been a wonderful learning journey. Rich learning in my classroom involves students being able to use different formats to showcase their learning such as photos, video recording and even using the microphone to explain their thinking. Seesaw’s platform is the best!
