In a digital world, the option to keep a digital learning portfolio for my students is a no-brainer. It helps me keep students organized and grouped based on their specific academic needs and keeps parents up to date on their student’s progress. Digital portfolios make my job so much easier and set me up for successful parent-teacher conferences and updates.
I had a very challenging school year last year. I had many students with specific, individual academic and/or social-emotional needs. However, with Seesaw and the ability to be responsive to all of their needs so easily and quickly, I was able to pinpoint specific at-risk students, allowing for early intervention and an opportunity to close the gaps much earlier in the year.
