We are pleased to share that a recent independent study conducted by LearnPlatform by Instructure found that Seesaw continues to satisfy ESSA Tier III (Promising Evidence) requirements, building on prior validation of the platform’s impact on student outcomes. Conducted during the 2024–25 school year, the study included 3,254 K–5 students across one public school district in Oklahoma and examined how Seesaw usage related to literacy growth. Researchers found that in Kindergarten through Grade 1, students whose families engaged more frequently with their Seesaw work and students who created more voice or video posts demonstrated stronger end-of-year literacy outcomes. The study also found promising results for Seesaw’s AI-powered Reading Fluency Assessment, with greater use of the feature associated with higher literacy scores in grades K-2, suggesting that AI-supported oral reading practice can meaningfully complement classroom literacy instruction.
